Landvisions was chosen to participate with city committee members and Tyler Parks and Recreation Department to develop concepts for an overall park renovation to one of Tyler’s most historical sites. Established in 1913, Bergfeld Park reflects a rich history and an impressionable community impact for Tyler. The Park was honored to receive the Lone Star Legacy Park award in 2014. The project was focused on providing the community with a new vision for this popular destination. Playground additions, amphitheater restoration, Vendor promenades, identity elements, and a restored landscape image provided the project team with a unique opportunity for the future of this 8.4 acre park. The first phase was completed in 2015, igniting passion throughout the community on the future and continued historical presence for this unique outdoor venue.
The Bergfeld Park was a complete Design-Build package where Landvisions provided landscape architecture and urban planning services, including Site Inventory and Analysis, Conceptual Design, Design Development, Construction Bid Documents and Project Construction.
