Daniel Ross
Project Manager

Daniel has been building, creating, and making things since he was a young boy. With a grandfather who was an engineer, a grandmother who was an artist, and a father who was a mechanic, the joy of craftsmanship seems to be in his blood. Daniel’s passion for being actively creative has continually grown throughout his life. From tinkering around with toys and art, to working on and restoring hot rods, to starting a construction business, to hunting down a rare bourbon for his collection, he has a gift for combining strategic thinking with steadfast determination. He thrives when being challenged with difficult tasks and finds ultimate satisfaction when he is able to make something out of nothing. When faced with challenges, Daniel can quickly create alternative ways to proceed and develop strategies to help others overcome and achieve their goals.

As Superintendent at Landvisions, Daniel serves as the bridge between the architects and those executing on the projects in the field. His ability to communicate well enables him to empower the team with what needs to happen and strategize on how to solve day-to-day problems. Never content to sit around and wait for things to happen, Daniel is the one who excels at getting the job done, and getting it done the right way. He enjoys working with a team of people that take ownership in what they do and work to accomplish things that are bigger than themselves. Landvisions has been a workplace for him that functions more like a big family—full of freedom, joy, and a special kind of creativity.

Born and raised in Texas, Daniel lives in Tyler’s Historic Red Brick District with his wife, Marque. Drawn to the rich character and community activity of the area, Daniel and his wife enjoy being socially active and involved in their town. After studying real estate finance at Texas Tech University he jumped into the construction industry in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Over 12 years of experience in project management and running his own business has equipped Daniel to understand the intricate nuances of business strategy and real life situations in the field.

With his outgoing and relatable personality, Daniel has the uncanny ability for getting action going in a quiet room. He’s the guy that everyone wants to be friends with, but more importantly, he’s the guy everyone can rely on. His enthusiasm for creativity, strategy, and makes him a vital member of the Landvisions family.

What is something no one would believe is true about you?

I’m a bourbon hunter. Most people don’t know what that is, but I’m a bourbon afficiatenato and collector. I have over 300 different bourbons and whiskeys. And the activity of bourbon hunting is about finding rare and new kinds of bourbons. There is a whole community surrounding it and it’s about sharing, trading, and hunting down new ones, and I love the challenge of finding one I’ve never had before.

What do you love most about working at Landvisions?

It’s a big family. It truly is. The team mentality at Landvisions is second to none and I love giving our team freedom to run with things and create. The team has a unique ownership to the work we do and it feels like we are part of something bigger than ourselves.

What would you tell someone who is considering working with Landvisions?

From start to finish, we can help you take risks and make something great together. We excel at doing with others can’t do, or won’t do.

What are you a raving fan of?

I’m a raving fan of Texas Tech Red Raiders college football and bourbon hunting!
